Colours and Difficulty rate the opponent only (their recent attack and defence, home or away), so a hard opponent is hard for everyone. Attack rates the opponent's defence; Defence rates their attack. Proj. goals and Clean sheets are this team's own projections over the window, so they also reflect how good the team is. About fixtures and difficulty
This page shows every club's next five gameweeks at a glance, coloured from green (easiest) to red (hardest), with the easiest runs at the top. It's the quickest way to see which clubs have a kind run of fixtures coming up, and which face a tough spell.
How difficulty is rated. Each fixture is rated by how strong the opponent is right now, from their recent expected goals and actual goals for and against, with recent matches counting most, and whether the game is at home or away. It ignores the strength of the team facing them, so a hard opponent shows as hard for everyone. Fixtures are then split into five equal bands across the whole window.
Three views. Overall combines both ends of the pitch equally: the points an average team would expect against this opponent. Attack rates only the opponent's defence, which matters for forwards and attacking midfielders. Defence rates only the opponent's attack, which matters for keeping clean sheets.
The numbers on the right. Difficulty is the average rating of the run, from 1 (easy) to 5 (hard). Proj. goals and Clean sheets are what this team is projected to score and keep over the window, so they also reflect how good the team is. A strong side with middling fixtures can still out-score a weak side with easy ones. Click any heading to sort.
Below the ticker, the luck check shows which teams' results have run ahead of, or behind, their chances so far.
Questions
- Why doesn't this match FPL's own difficulty ratings?
- Fantasy Premier League publishes its own ratings, which change slowly and partly reflect reputation. These are rebuilt every two hours from how teams are actually playing, so a big club in poor form shows as easier here.
- What do doubles and blanks look like?
- A double gameweek shows two fixtures in one cell; a blank shows a dashed "Blank" box.
FPL For FPL players
The attack and defence views match how FPL scores: forwards and attacking midfielders want weak defences to face, goalkeepers and defenders want weak attacks. The five-week outlook, just above the luck check, picks out the best attacking and clean sheet runs and the biggest fixture swings, and lists any double or blank gameweeks in the window.
- How far ahead should I plan?
- Three gameweeks for most transfers, five when you're planning a Wildcard or a run of moves.
